Canon M50 autofocus box showing even when autofocus is off

Not sure exactly what's happening here but even when I turn off autofocus and turn on manual focus I still get the blue box through my HDMI output that I need to be a clean output. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Both the M50 and M50 Mark II are [NOT] listed as supporting “Clean HDMI” output.  But, they are supported by the EOS Webcam Utility.

Canon Cameras That Support Clean HDMI Output. 

You should not have [to] resort to the classic work around of disabling AF.  The EOS Webcam Utility should be used with a USB cable.  Your applications that look for connected cameras should see the “EOS Webcam” an available camera selection
