Canon EOS R6 Mark III Kit purchased from B&H Photo - Registration problems

Hi, I purchased the subject camera from B&H Photo and tried to register it.  Its a kit product (comes with the RF 24-105mm USM lens) and when I enter the serial number of the camera I get this message:

The serial number you have entered is invalid for one or more of the following reasons:
1) The serial number does not match the product you have selected (FCC ID which starts with "AZD" is often mistaken for serial number.)
2) The serial number entered indicates this product was not intended for sale in the United States and is ineligible for registration and support in the U.S.
Please verify your product model and serial number to ensure they were entered correctly.

Any idea why I would get that?  I don't see where I can call Canon to discuss?  Should I call B&H Photo?  I also purchased a Carepak, but using that requires the camera be registered.

Any help woudl be appreciated?

I called B&H Photo - they put me in touch directly with Canon's registration people, and they helped me get the camera registered.  So that resolved my issue.
