I have followed the steps to enable the camera as a wifi hotspot and join the network, but Canon Camera Connect doesn't recognize the connection.Stepping through the manual connection doesn't lead anywhere.
I have deleted/reinstalled the software on the iPhone and about to look for a 3rd party app. But before I do that I'd rather get this Canon supported software to work.
Please advise.
Thank you.

Hello jskirwin,
We apologize that this has occurred. The first thing to try would be to clear the currently registered smartphone settings, which may be causing the Wi-Fi to not be established correctly. In that case, on the smartphone's Wi-Fi settings screen, delete the connection settings for the camera and enter the connection settings again. This should resolve any issues and allow the camera to reconnect with the software.
