Hello,
I just used received my brand new Canon 6D (mark i). I used a Canon 100D for a while and I got used to checking my exposure settings using a halfway press on the shutter button (doing so make your exposure settings appear on your rear LCD panel for 4 seconds and then the LCD turns off by itself).
I am trying to do the same thing with my 6D but can't find a way ! I know you can press the INFO button 3 times and your settings will always be displayed but I don't like that and I don't like the option to make it dark by pressing the shutter halfway.
Am I missing a setting or this feature is just not available on the 6D ?
Thank you very much for your help,
Kevin

On the 6D, I believe that when you press the shutter button half way, the viewfinder and the LCD on top right of the camera will show you that. To view it on the back LCD you have to press and turn on live view.
