I've been searching everywhere and have been all over the map on this. Does the 60D have remote capability FOR VIDEO? If so, is it as simple as getting the RC-6? If not, what other means are there?
Thanks in advance!

Greetings, pr660
You can use Remote Controller RC-6 to start and stop the movie shooting. On the back of the remote, please move the timing switch to "2" instead of the dot since keeping it on the dot will allow for the camera to take a picture instead of starting and stopping a video recording.

If you can start and stop video recording by using the shutter button, then it is possible that a wired remote could also start and stop video recording.
