Auto Exposure in Manual Mode HELP

Hi,

I'm getting used to my 5D Mark II for video and I've been experiencing a problem with exposure while I shoot videos. I know that ALO is meant to be disabled during manual mode but when I start shooting the camera automatically changes exposure to its own settings and I haven't been able to figure out how to fix it. Could anyone help me with this, please? Thanks!

Sounds like the safety settings are kicking in.  You can disable them in the menus, but slower shutter speeds will convey smoother sense of motion.
