Audio Playback on EOS Rebel T5i

Hi - 

Disclaimer:  Newbie - really, newbie with a question:

I'm taking first steps at recording video on the T5i; when p;aying back, I can see the video just fine, no audio.  Audio recording is set to Auto.  Can I actually playback video on the t5i with audio, or do I need to plug this into a computer to hear the audio with the video?

To hear your movies while playing them back on your EOS Rebel T5i, please use the MAIN DIAL, located just behind the shutter release, to adjust the playback volume.

Hi -

Long time no respond, but when I adjusted the volume, I still heard no sound from the camera playback itself. Is there another setting that I need to look at?

Hi Richard - unfortunately, no this didn't work. Even with the volume turned all the way up during playback, there is no sound.
