7D not recording to card

My Canon 7D is suddenly recording images to the camera instead of to the card. I have never seen his happen before and didn't know the camera could even do that. Is something damaged? Did I push a button or something I'm not aware of? The problem isn't my computer: if I hook the camera directly to the computer, I can load the images that were on the camera. The cards, however, are blank.

Greetings,

The 7D doesn't have internal memory, so if you're able to review the pictures after they're shot, they're being saved to a media card.  Compact Flash I/II😄 🙂

No. The card is empty and I can review the pictures on my camera without a card in the camera.

What has "suddenly" changed about how the camera is working? The only place it CAN save to is the memory card.

I know that's supposed to be true but I can review the pictures with no card in the camera at all, and I have formatted the card so nothing is there. I take pictures with the cleared card in it and -- nope, the card is still blank but the new pictures are on the camera itself, showing up with no card installed.

Wait... taken care of. Thanks.

Well, since what you were saying you could do is impossible, please tell us how it was taken care-of.
