Hello - I'm looking for some help/advice. I've owned a number of different canon DSRL/mirrorless cameras and have updated firmware numerous times...I have a 7D mark ii that I purchased (eBay) as a back up that had firmware 1.1.2 installed and, while I didn't need it, I knew that it's a pretty quick process that I'm familiar with...Anyway, I've downloaded the most recent firmware but the firmware installer hangs on 8% installed...I've researched, tried a cf and two SD cards with the 1.1.3 FW update and all get hung on 8%. Prior to the trying to install the camera was in working condition (battery was probably only 75% when I tried to install...)...any thoughts or remediation would be appreciated! Thanks!

How are updating the camera? Memory card or USB? Be sure to have only one card in the camera, if you’re using a memory card.

Thanks for replying - yes, tried one card at a time (only one card in the camera at a time). The camera recognizes the update, starts the update but gets hung…stayed at 8% multiple time for 45 mins at the longest. Thx again!
