My Canon 70D recently seems to have lost its internal wifi connection. Even though the settings screen shows that the wifi is "Enabled," the screen at the top of the camera shows that the wifi if off. Now, how do I turn it back on? I've checked several sources, including a thick book i purchased a couple of years ago specific to the 70D, but it doesn't have a section on troubleshooting. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

How do I do that?

The * indicates that you have to be in one of the modes like P or M.

You'd think it would be that easy, but I don't have any of those functions under "Battery Info." I just have those top two.

Look at my post. You have to be in P mode to see all the options.

Unfortunately, that still didn't solve the problem. The wifi function is "enabled," but the wifi is still off. I'm worried at this point that it might be an issue with the wifi chip itself. Thank you for your help.
