I just got my new 6d yesterday, initial impressions are fantastic. I'm running into a issue with connecting the camera and phone via wifi. Going through all the steps I hit a road block after entering the encryption key into my phone. The phone accepts the key and connects via wifi, but when I exit my settings screen and go into the app all it says at the bottom of the screen is "connect the camera ssid JC" and won't go to the next screen.
After watching set up videos on YouTube, the app should recognize the camera and move onto the next screen. Upon moving to the next screen the menu option on my camera should change, and I move on happily ever after.
No dice. Anyone?
ive reset the camera settings, reset the phone, restarted the phone, reinstalled the app, waited for a prompt from the app or the camera to make the next move...nothing. these are the current screens i see. folow these links.

Look like the app has not paired with the phone yet. When you open the app, normally on the right hand side, there is a button to pair the camera, do you see it? Or the screen shot that you upload is the first thing you see when you open the app?
Also, have you tried the Infrastructure mode (if you have wireless router at home). You can connect both your camera and your phone to your home wifi network via infrastructure mode. It is better to connect this way, more flexible since you can switch between smartphone, and PC if you want to.
