Anybody who knows how to easy fix this? I found this, but the main dial on a 6d is harder http://martybugs.net/blog/blog.cgi/gear/bodies/Fixing-Slipping-Main-Dial-On-A-Canon-DSLR.html

Well, I opened the camera. The aperture wheel didn't turn out to be what I expected. If I want to get it fixed, I think I will need to replace the whole main dial part.

I didn't understand your original question but there is no way you should have "opened it up".  IMHO, of course.

For example. I am in the menu and using the main dial. If I scroll it six times, the menu will only move five times. Sometimes it works like a charm, sometimes not.

Are yuo up to this kind of a repair?

I suppose the part costs more than I want to spend. I will live with this minor fault until I buy a 5DIV...

Might be a lloonngg .... wait.
