Hi,
I am facing a serious issue with my Canon EOS R50. The mode dial button appears to be broken, and now the camera is not turning on at all.
Details:
Model: Canon EOS R50
Serial Number: 23xxx
I would like to know:
If this could be covered under warranty
Whether this requires full repair or replacement
The recommended next steps for service
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you.

@mayur26b Contact Canon at 1-800-OK-CANON about your camera. I believe Canon issues a free service if the mode dial breaks. @Danny please chime in with more information regarding this repair from Canon USA. The repair process can start if you have a Canon Account.

Hi there!
There's more than just Danny on the Moderation team, I've got this one!
As for the repair info, we can't guarantee it would be a free repair since we aren't the service technicians who would review the camera, but yes, we would say setting up a repair request is a good idea! Here's where you can set up a repair.
Hope this helps @mayur26b

Thanks for chiming in @SamanthaW I usually talk to @Danny when moderation is needed. Or I’ll ask Chris @ccanada to look into the problem or question.
