Just got a 6D. When focusing during shooting video, I push the AF-ON button and it does focus. But it also is very annoying because it also METERS when I push that and the picture goes dark for a moment when I do that. It records that onto the video too! I went in to the settings and tried to re assign that button to only focus and there is no choice for that.
Help please...

My son is the videographer, and he tells me that the 6D is not designed for AF when recording video. For that reason, I have purchased a set of fully manual, "cinema prime" lenses....for him, not me. KIDS!
