5d mark IV viewfinder eyepiece not working

hi! I just upgraded to a newer 5d mark iv. when I look through the viewfinder, everything is blurry, even when I push half way down on the shutter. 

I have it set to autofocus. 

I've taken the lens on and off multiple times.

It's not set on back button focus.

Any thoughts?

Try adjusting the diopter.  It's the very small wheel control along the outside upper-right corner of the viewfinder.
