Is there a way to fix other than sending in for repair?

Not for that (pink) problem if the quick fixes that were suggested don't work.

I have scanned thro some forums relating to the same problem and there is one feedback here for your info

Thanks for sending the link.  I'd like to see if there's something I can do before actually getting my camera looked at.

Did you ever find a solution to your problem? I have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM with a camera I just bought over the weekend from Craigslist. Gulp!!!!  I'm praying you found a solution!!!

No.

I just happen less frequently and I started to ignore it.

p.s

I tried different memory card, factory reset and update firmware.  None of them works.

Seems to be a 5DII issue. The post nr 236 is interesting.

I bought my 5D mark2 in 2012 and my warranty has passed.

Any idea how much does it cost to repair?

I bought a brand new Lexar card - (Lexar Professional 800x 16 GB/ UDMA7).

My other card was a generic pro-master card used over and over.  I also bought a new card reader because I read somewhere that they can get corrupt too.  So far so good.  I wonder if it was the flash card that was causing it... I haven't had any white screens/images since... (maybe one - it usually happens when I switch from video to pictures) - but that was it.

Is your flash card old or new?  See if that could be it?
