I'm a very amateur photographer at this point and I recently purchased a Canon Rebel eos 2000, because I really wanted to start using 35mm film again. I thought it would be a decent camera to start with because I already have a Canon Rebel 3i and thought I could use the lenses I have for that camera already. I was only partly right, since I had overlooked that my EFS lenses will not work. Anyways I find myself wanting some new lenses for the rebel 2000 and found a pretty good deal on a Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM Lens(9518B002). Am I correct in thinking that it will work on that camera, and if so is it a good idea though? Sorry for the drawn out message. I appreciate any and all input/help anybody might have on the subject!!! Thank yo

"What I meant to say wouldn't be as wide as it would be on a Full Frame or 35mm Film camera."
Well then that's what you should have said. Since the OP said, "I'm a very amateur photographer ..." Saying it would not be a WA on his camera is misleading and wrong..
