Canon Lense basics

I have not bought a lense for my Canon EOS XT in probably ten years and since I have picked up the camera once again I am interested in acquiring a lense for it.  Please tell me how to tell which lenses will fit my old canon EOS XT.

C'mon, I knew that!! (I had looked up the 1DX, and I don't think any of the other 1D's are made anymore.)

OK, OK, I guess I should have said "or higher". 

One I hadn't looked up was the 70D; but I just did, and it doesn't have 100% coverage either.
