My understanding is that the Power Shot SX camers are hybrids of the basic Power Shot A cameras and the professional EOS cameras, I would recommend that if you want professional looking photos try an EOS.
Well said and whats the old bromide that my parents always said to me "practice makes perfect." My new canon power shot sx510hs should help with that since its much smaller than my XT it can go places that the XT can't simply becuase of size.
