I have a 100-300 Ultrasonic Lens that I want to use in a newer Rebel DSLR camera. It was well cared for when I used it, and has since been kept in a clean, dry place. It looks ok when I inspect it, but I'm wondering if there is anything else I need to inspect or do. Of course I could just use it and see how it goes (waiting for new camera - thought I would ask now).
Thanks!

I would suggest taking both caps of and look through it while holding it up to a light, just to be sure no fungus has developed. I live in northeast US, have air conditioning in the summer, and still had fungus deelop in two of my older lenses.
