I have a Canon Pixma MG2450.
I only bought the correct canon PG545 XL black ink catridge a week or so ago, from Staples. I have printed maybe 50 pages max. Now suddenly the print is interrupted by horizontal blank lines cutting through the print. The lines don't cover all the page, just large parts of it.
I have checked, cleaned and deep-cleaned the print heads, I have also removed the cartridge and manually cleaned the print head, this makes no difference.
What is this problem and how can it be rectified? I am reluctant to purchase a replacement catridge when it's supposed to be an XL good for hundreds of pages!
