I see I'm not alone with this issue. I had just purchased and installed new ink cartridges, too. Mine isonly 18 months old. Given the number of people who are experiencing this same issue hopefully Canon can find a cost effective solution.
I joined the club today. VERY frustrating as I have barely used my MX 892. Guess I have to buy another brand as no power is a pitiful experience with technology today.
