will the canon i900d printer work with my new mac. It has MAC OS MONTEREY 12.0.1
I haven't been able to find a driver for it. Is there a generic driver I can use ?
Many thanks

You might see if software called VueScan can help you.

I have a Canon Canoscan 9000F Mark II scanner and love it. Once I upgraded on my Mac to Monterey the scanner still works but I have to close the scanner window in-between every scan. The Canon website for drivers and downloads does not list Monterey although it lists Mac OS 12. I have used VueScan and it does work but is definitely not as user friendly. To its credit, Vuescan does give you a lot more control and choices in scanning.

Vuescan is brilliant and definitely user friendly - there is a simple GUI option. It offers so much more choice than the default software and is well worth buying IMO.

Isn't VueScan meant to help with scanner compatibility issues? This is a printer issue.
