I have some trouble putting the whole document to be scanned and image file to be made, while using PIXMA TS3522 all in one printer, desktop computer with Windows 10; and trying to do the preview scan using Windows Fax & Scan. I find NO way to control framing of the previewing image. The dotted line sides will not move.
I wonder if some software I needed to install; the all in one printer has been in use for printing and copying and drivers been installed for two years and no trouble that way. I do not believe I ever had software on a disk to use for installing whatever drivers and softwares for the printer two years ago.
What can I do either to use some alternative software to allow to crop and properly frame a scanning image, or to be able to actually use Windows Fax & Scan and be able to make those cropping and inclusion adjustments?
I might need to guidance what to do with which software, like is there something on Canon support site that I should use in a certain way to get just the software I need and not force me to reinstall the drivers softwares for the all in one printer?

Hi gjoclm,
The PIXMA TS3522 has scanning software that you can use which will fit your need. This software is installed when the drivers are installed, it is not available as a separate download.
The software to be used is named the "IJ Scan Utility". Once installed, you can use the ScanGear button on the utility to scan your image/document.
More information regarding using ScanGear can be viewed in the manual here:
Scanning Using Application Software (ScanGear)
The main page of the online manual can be accessed using this link:
To download the driver and this software, please click the Download button to the right of "Print Driver and Scan Utility Installer" located on this page:
