canon pixma mg3620 flashing alarm light

hi, i'm having problems with my printer. i turned it on this evening and my power light (green) and my alarm light (orange) are flashing. how can i reset the printer? can i reset it? i just counted 10 orange flashes. what does that mean? thanks for your time.

I have this problem as well.  I took it to a computer guy who didn't know what to do and suggested I ask the question here.
