PIXMA TR8520 white light is flashing, no printing, shows support code C000 or 5100

Hi, I have followed the directions from the support codes, there are no obstructions and all the ink cartridges are firmly in place.  Can anyone please give me guidance on how to get my printer working?  Thank you.
