Hi fox47,
If the power light is steady and the error light blinks 5 times, that is an indication that your PIXMA MG3620 is experiencing an error with one or both of the ink cartridges installed. To resolve this error, please replace both ink cartridges. Your PIXMA MG3620 is compatible with PG-240, PG-240XL, PG-240XXL, CL-241 and CL-214XL ink cartridges.
If the power and the error light both blink 5 times, that is an indication that your PIXMA MG3620 would require service. If your PIXMA MG3620 was purchased less than a year ago, please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat to obtain your in warranty options.
