canon U scan Utility need code 14,230,1

Canon MX470 printer won't scan. Code 14,230,1 error message.

I re-installed the program from the CD & have now been able to scan sucsessforly.  Whacko.

My u scan utility software has a Pixma MX 450 series named as the product.

I want to add a Pixma MX 490 series to the list.

How do I do that?
