My PIXMA MG8220 has error message 6C10 -- turning it on/off, unplugging then plugging it back in has not resolved the issue.  I pulled the ink absorber pads and cleaned them.  Any other thoughts/suggestions are very welcome!

Hello, once I hit the scan option on my MG5420 to scan a document to my MAC PC it states: "Set the PC for scanning".  I am however able to scan from the MAC PC only but not from the CANON to MAC PC.
