What can I do to get the printer work again?

It was fine a day or two ago, still prints, but scanner is not functioning. Does anyone know how I can fix it? or is it a hardware problem? many many thanks

Printing a single page

Is there a way to print a single page(color other than white) without loading it in the cassette tray? Some printers will allow to place a single page in the top feeder and have it fed when you print.
