Greetings,
I've tried every combination of unplugging the power/re-plugging the power, unplugging the USB/re-plugging the USB(at different ports), using the printer online/offline, and rebooting the computer to no avail. The printer lights all look normal, ready to print, no errors showing.
Canon needs to get the basics right before creating these do-everything machines that the computer will not recognize.

Hello.
Please check to ensure that the USB cable is being connected to the correct port on the back of the printer. Also, make sure that the printer is connected directly to your computer rather than through any USB hubs or extension devices.
If the issue persists, try using a different USB cable that is at least shorter than six feet.
