So, before last year we could just select "label" in proprieties and it would print well on my labels. So I know the printer can handle it. But now, the only options are disk (?!? no one needs that), photo, envelope, plain paper and automatically detected media. Spoiler: it doesn't detect labels. In fact, one of my printers categorically refuses to print the labels (I don't need the hack to make it recognize it. I need the option restored) while the other just prints on it like it's plain paper.
And again, I know my printer was able to do this last year. So I'd very much like to know why this option was removed (especially since canon boasts that it can do labels on the website.)
And the reason why it's problematic is that even with the "hack" (removing the easy peel top of the label) it pretty much prints super badly compared to what it did a year ago.
