Which of new PIXMA MG series printers have rear vertical feed?

I do a lot of greeting card printing and, as card stock is fairly heavy, want to minimize the feed path of the stock through the machine. I have been using an PIXMA iP4500 with rear vertical feed for several years but I now need a capable replacement and like the features of an AIO.

Hi Lyco81,

All of our models have rear feed trays similar to the iP4500.  What is somewhat lesss commonplace is the bottom casstte.  If you let us know what price range and other features you would be looking for we can suggest a specific model.

Hi Karl,

This is not true, I cannot find a Canon printer that has a rear feed as of March 2013. They seem to have all been discontinued. Can you please let me know which if any models have a rear feed? Price is not an option, I need a rear feed for greeting card and photo printing. Thank you.

I agree - I can't find a rear feed printer for cardstck, either. Unless i want to spend 1,000. Which I do not.

I am also looking for a rear feed printer that will print 5 x 7 envelopes.  All of my old Canon printers had that ability and were great workhorses.  I bought a new MX922 this year and it is absolutely the worst printer I have ever owned!

Today, I sent an email to Canon asking what printers they had available with a rear feed, but no reply yet.  It is discouraging to see that people have been asking this question for a while on different threads with no answers.

Everything I own in Canon - cameras, lenses, printers.  At this point I will take any brand printer if someone knows of one that will print my envelopes.
