When we first wirelessly installed the MG8120 to our computer, it printed fine and five printer icons were displayed on the desktop. Several months later we could not print from our computer anymore and only two printer icons are displayed on the desktop. We have reinstalled the printer several times, and downloaded drivers. Nothing seems to help. The document status shows "error" when it doesn't print. The printer is making connection with the Inspiron One because we are able to scan from the MG8120. When we turn off the computer and turn it back on, it will print a page of the last document.
We can still print wirelessly to this same MG8120 from the laptop. The laptop has five printer icons on the desktop and there are no printing issues with the laptop.

Hi Jay71,
The printer error may indicate that the printer driver is not configured properly. Please try the following to resolve the issue:
1. Click Start.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Click Hardware and Sound.
4. Click Devices and Printers.
5. Right click the PIXMA MG8120 Printer and click Printer Properties.
6. Click the Ports tab.
7. Make sure that the checkmark is on the port that starts with CNBJNP, then click OK and try to print.
If the CNBJNP port was already selected please try right clicking the PIXMA MG8120 printer and click See Whats Printing. When the print queue opens, click Printer and remove the checkmark on Use Printer Offline by clicking on it, then try printing again.
