What is the difference between printer models with the same number but one has the letter “a” after? Example Pixma TR7520 and TR7520a

Hello,
The letter a after a printer model, such as TR7520a, typically denotes a minor revision or variant of the original model. It may indicate a slight hardware or software update, but the exact meaning can vary depending on the manufacturer and specific product line.

Thank you, I couldn't find any mention of that here on Canon's website. I found that one major difference between the TR7520 and TR7520a is that the TR7520a uses the type of ink cartridge where cyan, magenta, and yellow are all in one cartridge. So if one color runs out you have to replace the cartridge, that seem incredibly wasteful, and expensive.
