The "Alarm" light on my Pixma MX310 won't go out. What to do?

The "Alarm" light on my MX310 won't go out. I've tried "Stop/Reset" and changed cartridge. I still get "Check ink U150" msg on screen. What to do?

Hello,

 

This error typically indicates the ink cartridge is not seated correctly.  Please try taking the ink out and back in again, and be sure to follow the step-by-step guide found by CLICKING HERE.
