TS3722 Printer Ink , Ink Low After Ink Install, Support No Help

Just bought a TS3722 printer , and the starter inks ran out, which is probably about normal. We went to Staples bought replacement ink. UPC code 6068522322, made in Japan , the box has 4988C005AA on it ,its a PG-275, and CL-276. Installed the cartridges and did a print head alignment , now 25% of black ink gone, this is my second Canon printer never seen this happen on a new ink install, tells me the ink was low in cartridge. I called support at 9:30 est, spoke with a Mark, was no help, scripted answers.Like I said this is my second Canon printer the first being a MG2520 never had a problem with a ink install, I even helped sell one when I bought the TS3722. Awful customer service experience on this ink and the call.
