TS 6020 Display went blank

Hi, I have a TS 6020 printer that I used for printing edible images for cookies and now, when I plug it in, the display screen turns a very pale blue and I cannot turn the printer off unless I unplug it and I can't use it because there is nothing displayed on the screen.

The green on light is not on but if I plug it in and hold the stop button the green light will come on and blink slow but the display screen remains black--not even the pale blue I described. If I push the start button after plugging it in while holding the stop button the screen reverts back to the pale blue.

When I plug it in, the usual sounds of the print head moving, etc is not happening.

I bought the printer brand new approx 5-6 months ago  and I doubt it has printed more than 100 pages. If there is anything I could do to bring it back to life, I would really appreciate it anybody knew what to do.

Thank you

Hi,

Your printer has experienced an internal hardware failure and would require service.

At this time I recommend you reach out to Canon support. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

We look forward to hearing from you.
