TR8620a Ink change leaks

I bought the TR8620a a couple of months ago.  EVERY time that I change the ink cartridges, I get ink all over my fingers.  I've never had this happen with other models.  Is anyone else having issues with this?  What am I doing wrong?

I don't have that problem. I just don't touch the bottom of the cartridge. Are you using Canon ink?
