PIXMA TR8620a Printer won’t print if sleeping

My TR8620a won’t AirPrint once it shut itself to sleep. An inconvenience when at night trying to print from another room. Are they’re settings to change that?

I suggest you do the following:

*Adjust the printer's power management and ECO settings.

*Assign the printer a static IP on your network (this is done on your router)

*Install the printer as a TCP/IP device (Windows or MAC)

These settings only need to be done once, and will help to ensure consistent and reliable connectivity.  

Installing the printer's drivers is recommended.  They provide additional control and features not offered by AirPrint.
