TR8620 print/copy issues since changing computers

I've had minimal issues with the TR8620 up until I recently had to change computers.  When I installed the software for the printer on the computer I am not able to copy or print when the page is in black and white.  (And yes, it will still scan.)  If it is in color, it will print/copy - even the black print.  If I take that same page and change it from color to black and white it won't print anything.  And I mean anything - the page comes out completely blank.  The same is true if I try to print from my phone.  I know that prior to the new computer my old computer would print everything and the printer/copier would copy everything, too.  The day my old computer went down I was able to print something from my phone, so I can pretty much narrow it down to the new computer causing issues.  Even an IRS tax form won't print - it spits it out as a blank page.  I have uninstalled and installed the software multiple times.  I've now switched to a new computer and that hasn't changed anything.  Can't go back to old computer - it's lost ability to connect via WIFI.

Thanks for joining the conversation, Jim55!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which operating system is running on your computer (i.e. Windows or macOS, and which version thereof). That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

Windows 11.  Which apparently has known issues with printers.

Other details I learned was that this is affecting my internet, as well.  The fact that the printer is listed as a visible network (but not a known network) alerted me to focus in this area.  Also, no Canon icon can be found on the computer. When I search for Canon - all it identifies is web based sites - no files on the computer.  Yet, when I went into control panel I found 6 (I think) Canon files.  I deleted each individually and suddenly my computer got faster and everything seems to be running smoothly since.

I have another piece of equipment that is wireless and it is missing things, as well with the new computer.  That is a Bose speaker system and Bose is trying to identify the issues there, as well.

Hi,

As a test, could you use the steps HERE to print a nozzle check and then let us know if your print out looks like the example provided in the article.

We look forward to your reply.

Thanks for the note.  Nozzle check showed pale colors, etc.  Cleaned carriage and things improved.  Repeated check and things got better.  Scanning/copying still a problem as was my other issue not related to printer.  Brought in a specialist that installed drivers from a different location (than app) and that seemed to take care of all issues with the printer.  Other issue I was having was fixed by assigning administrator rights.  While not a preferred fix, (I'll have to wait on Bose for that) it did provide an immediate solution.

Thanks to everyone that responded.
