I have a fairly new Canon PIXMA TS6450a (bought in 2022) that was previously working but when I tried to print photos today they would all come out blurry. Still prints documents just fine but unable to figure out why I can’t print photos.
Things that did not help:
- Nozzle check
- Deep cleaning the nozzle
- Print Head re-alignment
- Photo quality (same result with high resolution photos and low resolution images and simple internet images)
- Changing computers I printed from
- Printing from mobile device
- Printing on Matte Photo paper (canon brand)
- Printing on Glossy photo paper plus II (canon brand)
- Making sure both printer and the computer have the same settings (e.g. paper size, paper type, etc)
- Assuring Printer firmware update
- Assuring computer software updated
Thing that kind of helped:
- Printing on Matte paper with “plain paper” computer setting. Image is not longer blurry BUT the photo is significantly less colored, looks washed out/faded and significantly less vibrant.
