TR8520 only prints from Preview

When I try to print a document inside a program, nothing happens when I click the Print command. Instead I have to use Preview to create a screenshot and then print from within that app. Does anyone know how to fix this? This was never a problem in the first 3 years of using my printer.

By the mention of Preview, I assume that this is Mac. What model and OS?

Can you print to PDF? (This might be a workaround)

It is an iMac with Monterey. I can print PDF.

Does this include all Apple apps like Pages?  Or things like Word?

Like I said, you could print to PDF and print that from Preview which might be better quality than a screenshot.

Rick0814, I've got a similar issue with my TR8520. It does everything - scan to PC, print from PC, and fax too - it even does "copy", BUT it comes out only blank printouts. I mean No Print Out. I tried the Preview, even tried to Print from "My Image Garden" software, all is working except all came out Blank Papers. I bought this machine in 2018, it started having problem recently. Surprise. My previous purchase was a lot better off than this one.
