Last week I purchased my Canon PIXMA TR7520 printer. I followed the directions and connected it to my laptop, but when I go to scan a document, it only scans maybe 20% of the time, probably less. The rest of the time it gives me the following message:
Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons:
1. Scanner is turned off
2. If using Wired LAN connection) it is disconnected from Wired LAN
3. (If using wireless LAN connection) Signal strength is poor due to obstructions
4. Network connections is prohibited by security software
5. Different scanner on the network is selected
1. Scanner is not turned off; 2. I am not using a Wired LAN; 3. There are no obstructions. My laptop is sitting on the desk right next to the printer; 4. I don't know if I have any security software and if I do, how do I find it?; 5. This is the only scanner I have.
It shows me Code: 2, 157, 50
I'd very much appreciate it if anyone can help me with this problem.
