Sublimation printing with the PIXMA G3270

Can a Pixma G3270 be used for sublimation printing if I don't put in the regular ink & only use sublimation ink in it?

I love my Canon inkjet printer for other things, so I wanted to invest in another Canon for my sublimation printing.

Canon has posted previously that their printers are not designed to use sublimation ink.

I understand that the canon heats the ink at some point in the process and can turn the red ink pink for an example. So as mentioned in another post canon regular printer not designed/recommended for sublimation best to buy either a best proven printer for sublimation for good results for your projects.
