Greetings,

While these links might be valid, I have no idea if they are safe.

If you had a few posts, I might consider it, but this is your very first post and topic.

Overly cautious, probably so, but in my line of work, I have to be.

If you want assistance, post examples of some of the images and we'll be happy to take a look.

Hi newprinter,

One of the examples that was provided was of the nozzle check.  Your nozzle check is not printing black and the colors are not printing correctly.

Please remove the ink cartridges from your printer and make sure that all of the tape/cellophane has been removed.  Once checked, please reinsert the ink cartridges.

Next, please perform a printhead cleaning.  To do this, please hold down the STOP button until the Error lamp flashes orange 2 times, then release it immediately.

After the cleaning is complete, please print another nozzle check.  Please Please hold down the STOP button until the Error lamp flashes orange 1 time, then release it immediately.

Does your nozzle check look like the example below?

Hi newprinter.

From the results provided, it looks like some of the Black and Cyan nozzles are still clogged. Try another cleaning or deep cleaning.  If that doesn't provide satisfactory improvements, you'll want to replace the ink cartridges with fresh cartridges.

Hi Patric

I have tried this claning method several times now using my pc to do the deep cleaning and still no better off.

Is there a manual way of cleaning them by hand?

You see I have been filling the cartrages up with bottled ink (only the once though) and injecting the ink into the conpartment
