Scanning keeps cutting off on TS3722 Printer

So I just bought the TS3722 printer yesterday. I really needed to make copies. When I did so, the copies came out with a big black box on the right side. I tried a few more times and even reset the printer and nothing works. I even tried scanning through the phone, and this it's still happening. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

It would appear that your PIXMA TS3722 would require service.  Please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

https://mycanon.usa.canon.com

Once logged in, click on your PIXMA TS3722 and then click on the Product Support button. When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button or the Chat Support button to access support.
