Hi RebeccaGoulden1!

Welcome to the Canon Forums and thank you for your inquiry!

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know the model of your specific printer. You can typically find the model of your printer on the top or front of your printer.

Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue!

Thanks and have a great day!

Greetings,

This is very common.  Usually one of the following.  There are small guides on the rails where the drawer slides in you may need to check if they dropped and will not allow the tray to be reinserted.  This is more common on printers with multiple trays.  Or, the paper feed mechanism can do the same.  Trying to load too much paper can sometimes cause this problem.  It doesn't mean something is broken or wrong, you may just need to have a look to see whats binding.
