I am using a TR8520 with an iPhone and a Windows 10 computer. I have to repeatedly reconnect to the WiFi wireless LAN settins to reactivate it each time I restart the computer or phone after they have not used the printeer for a coule of hours. Why?

Greetings,
Time to take control and minimize or eliminate some of the unknowns in your environment.
What device are you connecting the printer to?
ISP modem/router combo? Your own device, etc?
If the device is dual band, are you using SMART Connect (Single SSID) name for both 2.4/5Ghz or does each have a separate name?
The 8520 will only connect to a 2.4Ghz broadcast.
What is the printer's IP address?
Can you PING this IP when the printer shows as "offline"
Easy to check... my printer's IP is 192.168.1.99.
C:\Users\admin>ping 192.168.1.99 (PING Command)

Assign the printer a static IP address. This is a one time set and forget procedure. This can be done on the printer, or on the router it is connecting to. This will give it a static destination which never changes. Other network devices can always find a device with a static destination since it doesn't change.

It will connect to my WiFi LAN and will print. The problems is that it goes inactive withing an hour or so and cannot be printed by either my computer nor my iPohnone. Every time I print, I must reactive the conection to my WiFi LAN
