PIXMA TR8520 Cannot save scanned document on MacBook Air How do I open document in MacBook Air?

I scanned a document through the Canon IJ Scan Utility Lite on my Canon TR8500 - all seven pages of it.  Now I cannot access it through My Image Garden on my MacBook Air!

Can anyone please help?

Thank you!

Hopefully this will tell you where your scanned document is located:

Thank you for your reply, but I can see the file and click on it to open it (as I have done so many times before) but, the file won't open and the application shuts down, bringing up the dialogue box to reopen, ignore, or send problem to Apple.  The scanning function seemed to work, the image of the file was there - it just wouldn't open.  I've been searching for some answers - and have been seeing some chatter about the application no longer working on MacBook Airs?  Does that mean you can't scan through your TR8500 any longer??

So your printer is behaving as it should. It's scanning documents and saving to your User Documents folder.

Try navigating to the documents folder and opening your scanned file from that folder.

No.  Your inability to open your documents through my image garden would appear to be related to something in your software environment (Mac), not your printer or its software.  Verify the default application you have set to open up the file type you've scanned/saved.

Thank you!  I still can't access the document through My Image Garden but searched my files and DID finally find it - and managed to open it outside of the Image Garden environment.  🙂
